What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage, tags loaded by a manager, and the Google Tag Manager noscript iframe. We use “cookies” here to cover those tools.
How this site uses them
Our application code does not set marketing cookies of its own. We load Google Tag Manager container GTM-NB5KMLPJ after the page has painted (on idle, after load) so measurement does not block first content. Tags inside that container — typically Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion or remarketing tags — may set cookies. The contact form does not load reCAPTCHA; it uses a hidden honeypot field instead.
Fonts are bundled at build time (Figtree, Newsreader, IBM Plex Mono) and served from this site, not from fonts.google.com in the browser.
The 13-week cash snapshot, runway simulator, and job-costing analyzer keep numbers in the page’s memory only. They do not write cookies or local storage.
Categories
- Strictly necessary. Delivery of the site (Firebase Hosting) and HTTPS.
- Analytics / performance. Google Analytics (or similar) loaded through Tag Manager, so we can see aggregated page views, devices, and referrals.
- Advertising / measurement. Google Ads or related tags if they are present in the Tag Manager container, used to understand whether ads led to a visit or a form event. We do not sell your inquiry list to other advertisers.
Tags in container GTM-NB5KMLPJ can be added or removed. This page describes the Google stack we use to monitor the site. Recheck this policy if we change measurement vendors.

Server logs on Firebase / Google Cloud are not browser cookies. They may still record IP address, user agent, and the URL requested. See the Privacy policy.
Legal bases (brief)
For California visitors, this is notice of analytics and advertising cookies used to monitor the site. We do not sell personal information. For visitors in the EEA or UK, analytics and advertising cookies are not strictly necessary; you may refuse them with browser settings or Google’s opt-outs. The site is operated for a California audience; we do not currently show a separate EU consent banner that blocks GTM before load.
How to control cookies
- Browser settings: block or delete cookies, or use a tracking-protection / strict mode.

- Industry pages: DAA, NAI
- iOS / Android: limit ad tracking or app tracking transparency at the device level
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: we do not currently change GTM behavior based on those signals. Use the controls above.
If you block all cookies, the public pages should still load. The contact form does not depend on cookies. Call (213) 444-2224 instead.
Third-party links
Footer social icons, biography personal-profile links, and Our Apps links go to other domains. Those sites set their own cookies. We do not embed social plugins in the header or footer. On Rafael’s biography, TikTok’s official creator embed loads so the latest posts can display. That script may set TikTok cookies.
